Tavian Faust, the vampire who's memories I recovered, is now in Forlorn Gist's District of Night. He confirmed the presence of Mayong's heir, but more importantly, he wanted me to know Mayong is after the Ewer of Sul'Dae. With the Ewer of Sul'Dae in his grasp, those who derive from his blood will be bound to his will, while those who derive from the D'Morte blood, or other impure lines, whose creation is also tied to the Ewer, will be destroyed; immolated by a mere mental command. His goal is unwavering power over all vampiric life on Norrath! Mayong cannot be allowed to grow that powerful, that unstoppable. To that end, Tavian and I have hatched a plan to destroy the new magical wards that now protect Castle Vacrul, erected and are maintained by the Dreadfell Coven.
