The long beak on this beastie is as impressive as its long legs, both perfectly evolved for wading shallow waters as it hunts for small lizards, fish, bugs, or the like. Its color though is what is truly striking! I've yet to discern what gives it that vivid hue. It's possible it is diet-based, but we shall see. Right now, I just enjoy its feather fluffing and soothing clacks.
